How do I choose and MLM company?

How do I choose?

When deciding on what business to go into (or to start from scratch) you first want to answer the following questions for yourself:

1. What are my interests?
2. What are my talents?
3. What would I do even if I weren't paid for it?
4. How much time, effort, and money am I willing to invest (to start up and ongoing)?
5. What brings me joy?

Once you have truthfully answered these questions, you will probably start to see some trends emerge as to what might be the career path for you.

Don't know of a career that already exists? Don't be afraid to start something new. You may have found a new niche that needs to be filled!

What is success?

If you don't know where you're going

If you don't know where you're going, how will you know
when you've gotten there?

`Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go
from here?' Alice speaks to Cheshire Cat
`That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the Cat.
`I don't much care where--' said Alice.
`Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

If you set a goal and decide where you want to go, then
you have a much better chance of getting there.

Why do I feel uncomfortable charging for my product or service.

Profit Motive

Profit is not made by conning others, but by creating something of value that did not exist before.

Generating an 'income' without offering an equal or greater value for their money could really be seen as 'stealing'.

Your profit is the symbol and reward for the value of your creation. Does your product or service create solutions to problems? If you do, you will find people that will happily pay you to provide them with relief.

What do I do with all the good ideas that I have?

Your 'One Thing'

Have you identified your `one thing` in your business? Or are you trying to run two or three multi-level or network marketing programs hoping that one of them will make you rich?

In this new year, evaluate all that you do. Evaluate that `one thing` that you`re going to focus on. One idea, one service or group of similar services - that you are going to apply all your energy towards until you reach your pre-established goal. This focus will help you spot opportunities that will help you reach your goal and say no to segues that will actually take you away from your goal.

Establishing `focus` for your ideas may be what stands between you...and success.

Oh, that`s another thing, you do have goals for this new year, right? If you don`t know where you`re going...you may never get there - but how would you know!

How do I set goals?

How do you eat an elephant?

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!

If a goal is very large or will take a long time to accomplish, break it down into steps. Each of these steps becomes a mini-goal with its own time frame. If necessary, break those little steps down even further.

It's much easier and less intimidating to tackle small, progressive jobs than one giant one.

What is success?

Payoff Bank

Do you have a large short term goal, but you just
don't have the proper motivation? Try the "payoff bank".
For example, over a 4 week period for every customer you contact, put a quarter
in a jar. For every home demonstration you schedule (or sale you make)
put $1.00 in a jar. At the end of the 4 weeks your "bank" will reflect the fruits
of your efforts and use can use this "reward" for whatever you like: a manicure,
a dinner out with your spouse, a new phone headset. Adjust the amounts
and qualifying criteria to fit your business and schedule.

What is success?

Dream BIG!

My favorite saying is "Reach for the moon and you'll land in the stars."
When I am told, "I don't want to set my goals too high because I don't
want to be disappointed," I must explain that, by aiming high, you're
bound to land somewhere above your current level. But if you aim low, you
just might hit the DIRT. It's your choice.

How do I set goals?

Write it down

The difference between a goal and a dream is that a goal has a deadline. Write it down, make a plan, and share it with at least one person who will keep you accountable.

How do I keep my goals in line with my life?

Balanced Goals

Set goals for all aspects of your life to keep your life in balance. If all of your goals focus on your business, the rest of your life may get neglected (family, relationships, personal and spiritual growth). Keeping all facets of your life growing and moving forward is what keeps life exciting and fulfilling.

How do I set goals?

Share your goals

When setting a goal, especially one of importance to you, share it with one or two people who will support and encourage you.

The extra encouragement will help you keep going during the hard times. The accountability will keep you on track.

How do I set goals?

Break it Down

Goals do not have to be grandiose endeavors to be considered important. Every goal you set is a step forward. It is often easier to tackle large goals by breaking them down into smaller goals, and sometimes breaking those down into even smaller ones. Each step is a step toward your success and you'll see your progress readily.
